Rice's Recent Legal Issues

The receiver was absent for the first six games of this season following an NFL suspension for his involvement in causing a multi-vehicle accident on a Dallas highway that left multiple people injured. He was sentenced 30 days in jail and probationary supervision after entering a guilty plea to serious offenses.

On the field, he finished the year with 53 catches for 571 receiving yards and five touchdowns as the Kansas City finished with a losing record and missed the playoffs for the first occasion in a decade.
